Boredom

Fully Stockton was started when we conceived the idea of making a real film. The cycle of addiction, the depravity, the loss of reality that accompanies it. It's really a character piece at the core of it.

Generation Gun

This song practically wrote itself, excuse the platitude, but it just appeared in fragments and for what its worth, its all true. Its about that angst and curiosity that you feel at 20 years old no matter who you are or what part of society you come from. Of course the problems with violence in our society is appalling

Slamdance

I was shocked, surprised, but still even when the cameras were rolling somewhere in my soul I felt everything was working. I just couldn't be more thrilled with its success. By success I mean its success of artistic expression. I'm not worried about people catching on or liking it. I know this work has already captivated and moved a few people as a social commentary and that's perfect.

There Is A Reason

In this scene; the character is talking about High School and his perception of it. He just fades to a still picture, which represents death. Fully Stockton is the voice of god. Everyone and everything in it combining to make the full effect of the film. I love it so much i wish i hadn't made it.

Deadweight Loss

All you have to do is know how to alternate the major/minors and how long to sustain them. I'll say you work between (its done with finger picking) Bm and D major. You cant just strum... you gotta fingerpick. I did plentiful amounts of professional PROgress.

Miss Jean Said

I think it's an amalgamation of time and love.
Which equals an understanding of the ever evolving collective unconscious. Also it's very appropriate. To the movement of the film synchronically which is ideally the goal of any soundtrack; to accompany rather than distract from the film.

Inside The Stylist Phloem

Fuck Trainspotting, fuck Fear and Loathing, fuck Blow. I was afraid and I was loathing and that's Fully Stockton. It is watching yourself die and being okay with it. I'm adding fuck Requiem for a Dream to the fuck list, is that okay? Absolutely.

Crystal Jesus

The part where the character is searching. The film is one continuous scene. There's more love in that film that in every relationship I ever had. This is the new love and life together. This is the thing that supercedes and transcends all previously accepted value. This is the new most valuable film.

Mr. Nothing

I've decided as matter of life/death I can't associate with people I spent all my time with while using. The nature of our friendship wasn't about being addicts and living in the same house for a year.

Cola

The climax is the entire film. It's about searching for a climax which, at first glance, would appear to be rising action but that's just it-- the disbelief is suspended, the wheels are always moving and it's just a big tantric experience. It really is magic. The film must be experienced firsthand.

Laugh Track

The new font trends of 2006 and what's coming up next year. The revival of plain text and the drawbacks of comic sans ms. What various scholars say; a real serious dissertation.

Living Out Of A Box

Whether it's film or life or anything, it just has to be the truth to connect to people and it certainely is that. It's about struggle, searching and looking for love in the last possible place; a substance-- the fear of finding that love in people and the world. I don't know what happened to all the love but somewhere in the 1980s I think it transmuted into money and hasn't been back, but it will return.
